Description

Primary dressing with compress for the care of acute wounds, sutured or not, surgical incisions, burns, moderately exudative abrasions, graft donor sites.

Protection of vascular catheterization sites.

This sterile transparent adhesive dressing is very flexible and resistant; it does not allow water, bacteria or viruses (HIV 1 and HBV) to pass through, and has good permeability to oxygen and water vapor; it promotes healing in a humid environment, and limits bacterial recolonization for 7 days. Waterproof, it allows showers. The installation frame makes it easy to apply.

The central compress is non-adherent to the wound and allows atraumatic removal. It is absorbent and limits maceration of the wound. The 3M Tegaderm+Pad dressing does not leave residue on the skin; its removal is painless if you stretch it well parallel to the skin, playing on its elasticity.

Precautions for use

Do not use in case of allergy to any of the components. Massage the dressing well during application to increase adhesiveness. Do not stretch the dressing while applying it, as this could cause mechanical skin damage.
