Description

The transparent film dressing with frame 3M Tegaderm is a sterile vapor-permeable transparent film dressing.

Primary or secondary dressing for the care of wounds, burns, ulcers, stage I and II pressure sores with little exudation, graft donor sites. Eye protection. Wound protection in balneotherapy.

This sterile transparent adhesive film is very flexible and resistant, does not allow water, bacteria or viruses (HIV 1 and HBV) to pass through, and has good permeability to oxygen and water vapour; it promotes healing in a humid environment, and limits bacterial recolonization for 7 days.

It has the sum of clinical studies (effectiveness, safety, ratio: cost/effectiveness) the richest in its category, in particular on the use of films to maintain peripheral and central catheters. Its installation frame makes it easy to handle.
