Description

Mepilex Border Protect Sacrum is a self-fixing absorbent hydrocellular dressing with silicone coating, based on Safetac Technology; over the entire surface of the anatomically shaped sacrum dressing, sterile.

Treatment of exudative wounds in the sacrum region such as:

• Sacral bedsores

• Pilonidal cysts

Mepilex Border Protect Sacrum can be used as part of prophylactic treatment to prevent skin lesions (e.g. bedsores) in addition to standard preventive measures and to reduce postoperative blisters.< br>

The silicone coating from Safetac Technology is unique.

Its mode of action consists of:

• maintaining an optimal humid environment

• reduce maceration phenomena by vertical drainage of exudates through the micro-perforations of the Safetac coating guaranteeing sealed edges and the absence of lateral leaks

• guarantee atraumatic removal for the wound and painless for the patient thanks to gentle and selective adhesion (adhesion on dry tissues, non-adhesion on wet tissues) allowing the preservation of 100% of skin cells.

Mepilex Border Protect Sacrum is a self-fixing absorbent dressing that does not require fixation.
