Description

Mepilex Border Flex Square is a hydrocellular dressing with Flex technology, with a silicone coating over the entire surface, from Safetac technology.

The silicone coating from Safetac Technology ® is unique.

Its mode of action consists of:

• maintaining an optimal humid environment

• reducing maceration phenomena by vertical drainage of exudates through the micro-perforations of the Safetac coating guaranteeing sealed edges and the absence of lateral leaks

• guaranteeing removal that is atraumatic for the wound and painless for the patient thanks to gentle and selective adhesion (adhesion on dry tissues, non-adhesion on wet tissues) allowing the preservation of 100% of skin cells.

Flex technology is unique. The mode of action consists of:

• 360º flexible

• Improves comfort

• Minimizes the risk of detachment

• Holds in place better than other dressings (on knees and elbows compared to other square-shaped dressings)

• Reduces tension on the skin
